“I first heard about Boudoir from a family member that was getting married. She was gifted so much beautiful lingerie for her bridal shower and I thought it was such an amazing idea. Years later I decided to go for it and do it myself. I didn’t feel my best physically but I didn’t care once the camera started clicking. Tricia and Lauren are truly the best. I’ve been going through a roller coaster type of journey with self love and acceptance. Before I was introduced to boudoir, I would always try and hide my body, my insecurities, because I am usually a shy person and I thought it was shameful to expose myself in that type of way because of society. Once I got the opportunity, I knew I had to take it because I wasn’t exposed to many female photographers. As I was driving to my photo shoot I felt kind of nervous, scared, and excited, but once I arrived and met Lauren I was just excited. She made me feel super comfortable and very at home. As we were doing the photo shoot she kept complimenting me and showing me some of the shots she had took which I could tell they were already amazing!! I started to feel like all my insecurities were fading away and I just felt super vulnerable but powerful and beautiful and sexy.
