MICHELLE’S BOUDOIR EXPERIENCE

Q: Why did you do your boudoir shoot?

To work on my self esteem!

Q: What was your favorite part of LaRose Portraits experience and why?

How comfortable and fun you made the actual shoot experience! Seeing my images in print was incredible too!

Q: How did you feel during your session? Was your experience what you were expecting? If not, how was it different?

I really felt like I was with friends! Y’all were so encouraging in making me feel sexy and confident, thank you!

Q: Would you do it again?

1000000000% I am for sure doing this with YOU again! No doubt in my mind lol

Q: What was your biggest fear before the session? Did your fear come true, and if not, what happened instead?

I’ve just never liked my body and have struggled with body dysmorphia for a very long time now so I was very worried about not liking the images or only seeing what I’ve trained myself to see. You somehow managed to make every image gorgeous and I got to see myself in a way I never have before

Q: When you first saw your images at the Image Reveal, how did you feel?

It was surreal. I’ve only ever felt beautiful performing on stage (used to be a ballerina) but even then it was a feeling and never something I saw visually. Seeing my images made me see myself in a light I’ve never experienced even on stage

Q: How has your boudoir experience affected your self confidence, self worth, self image, and overall morale? Tell me your story.

I for sure feel sexier. I was excited to share my pictures with my partner! He’s always loved my body and I think this gave me a chance to see myself in a way that he does

Q: What would you do different for your next session?

You already know I’m booking that Moroccan room girl! And I think I would like to do something more nude even and really let go and do a natural glam

Q: Have you ever done a boudoir shoot before? If so, how does your shoot with me compare to your prior experience?

I had done a photoshoot before but I can’t even call it boudoir unfortunately. The experience was awful and left me feeling worse about my body. The photographer was pushy and the whole experience was very uncomfortable

Q: Do you have any advice for women interested in booking a boudoir session? What would you say to someone considering doing a session with me?

Take the jump! Make the investment! It’s for yourself. Yes you can share the images with a partner and they’ll love it no doubt, but that’s just a little extra bonus! This feeds your soul and spirit and I really think in a world where body image is so so heavily emphasized and it the worst ways, this is something every women needs, deserves, and should experience.
