LINSEY’S BOUDOIR EXPERIENCE

LaRose Portraits Linsey Before & After

Q: Why did you do your boudoir shoot?

For my fiancé’s wedding present, and also for myself to feel good about myself and powerful- gain some inner strength.

Q: What was your favorite part of LaRose Portraits experience and why?

I loved how comfortable I felt throughout the whole session, trying different outfits and poses, professional hair and makeup, and I liked being told exactly what to do- took the pressure off me and made me more comfortable.

Q: How did you feel during your session? Was your experience what you were expecting? If not, how was it different?

I honestly had no clue what to expect. I was nervous leading up to my session and when I first got there but after chatting during the hair and makeup part I got a LOT more comfortable and was ready to get started!

Q: Would you do it again?

YES

Q: Did you feel safe and comfortable in my home studio?

Yes!!!

Q: What was your biggest fear before the session? Did your fear come true, and if not, what happened instead?

My biggest fear was that I wasn’t going to love my body in the pictures. I was going to notice the weight I have gained and wasn’t going to be happy. You did an amazing job of capturing my true self in an authentic and artistic way and I was very happy with how they turned out.

Q: When you first saw your images at the Image Reveal, how did you feel?

Excited and happy. I loved how they turned out and I know my body has changed over the past couple years but I now realize it’s just different but I’m still sexy and I’m excited for my fiancé to see the pictures.

Q: How has your boudoir experience affected your self confidence, self worth, self image, and overall morale? Tell me your story.

I’ve struggled with body image issues and disordered eating in the past and have been on a rollercoaster of ups and downs between feeling confident and absolutely hating what I saw in the mirror. After having back surgery two years ago and not being able to be physically active the way I’ve always used to, I felt like my body had totally changed and I didn’t love it. Doing the boudoir shoot gave me a new sense of self love and confidence that I’ve been missing for a while. I feel stronger and more confident now👏🏻

Q: Do you have any advice for women interested in booking a boudoir session? What would you say to someone considering doing a session with me?

DO IT!!!! Even if you’re nervous. Go out on a limb and try something new and you won’t regret it.
